Parking

The hotel offers daily parking or valet parking, both priced at £35, however this needs to be pre-booked. There is an NCP Car Park at Castle Terrace with lower-priced parking (Castle Terrace, Edinburgh EH1 2EW).

By Rail

The nearest train station is the Edinburgh Waverley Station and is 0.7 mile, or a 14-minute walk, from the hotel. It has direct service to the London King's Cross railway station. Getting a taxi from the hotel would take less than 5 minutes and cost between £5-£7.

By Air

Edinburgh International Airport is just 7 miles, or 25 minutes via taxi, from The Kimpton Hotel. A typical fare is under £20 (this may be higher on public holidays). There is regular tram service for around £10 return, which takes about 40 minutes and stops at St Andrew Square.

WI-FI

There will be complimentary Wi-Fi available throughout the venue during the event and no password is required to access it.

The following additional mitigations are in place:

• Venue staff will wear masks

• Enhanced cleaning measures are in place

• The venue is ventilated and where possible windows will be opened frequently

• LGC will offer coloured lanyards at the event for all attendees. A green lanyard indicates you are comfortable shaking hands, high fiving etc. An orange lanyard indicates that you are happy to network in close proximity but would rather avoid physical contact. A red lanyard tells fellow attendees that you are not fully comfortable and do not wish to spend time in close proximity to others.

• There is an isolation zone at the venue for anyone displaying symptoms to get a temperature check and/or take a lateral flow test

• LGC has a back-up supply of visors and masks, but encourage you to bring your own with you

• Socially distanced chairs will be available in the content spaces for anyone uncomfortable sitting near to others

• Attendees are asked to complete a lateral flow test within 48 hours prior to attending the event. Lateral flow tests can be ordered for free here.
