The 2023 LGPS valuations are being carried out against a backdrop of volatile markets, post-pandemic recovery and high inflation. While the Fund Actuaries complete their valuation calculations, and work with Funds to determine rates payable from 1 April 2024, Steven Scott of Hymans Robertson will share insights obtained from the data and results about these challenges. He will also provide comment on how these may influence investment decisions later this year and next.
