The Storebrand Group has roots back to 1767 and is a leading player in the Nordic market for long-term savings and insurance. Storebrand Asset management is the largest private asset manager in Norway and our sole business is asset management and manages approximately £84 billion as at Feb 2023.

The first Norwegian company to establish a sustainable investment department in 1995, Storebrand have one of the most experienced environmental, social and governance (ESG) teams in the Nordic region.

Today, £30.1bn in index and systematic strategies is managed by our Global Equity team, which includes investment from UK LGPS. Our ESG+ funds are available as both Global and Emerging Markets to reproduce the risk and return profile of the MSCI World Index whilst aligning with the low carbon transition. The fund excludes companies within fossil fuel related and climate negative industries and is managed with additional ESG criteria and sustainability focus.
