Tonight, we celebrate the incredible efforts and achievements of local government’s workforce and leadership.

From the frontline to senior leadership, the LGC Awards 2023 shortlist demonstrates the tireless commitment of staff at every level to driving improvements across the whole range of council activity. Our judges have been blown away by the energy and creativity on show.

It has also been great to see so many entries involving combined authorities this year, the newest members of the local government family.

Thank you to all those who have taken the time to enter the LGC Awards, by doing so you ensure that other councils learn from your hard work and good ideas.
